The theme of the art is "connection of people", with inspiration taken from an encounter with little birds.
The pieces are inspired by Shibamata, with iconic imagery such as a pin wheel, rice crackers, diamond-shaped decorations, flowers in the park, and cats on the street among other things.
The Japanese patterns are designed from Taisyakutens decorcations.
